488
The "base" 488 GTB is discontniued, leaving only the more powerful 488 Pista and 488 Pista Spider.
812
The 812 Superfast 2-door hatchback is joined by the 812 GTS Spider, a retractable hardtop convertible with a glass, roll-down rear backlight. Interior dimensions are reportedly unchanged and trunk volume is not reduced to ridiculous levels. The rear half of the car is mostly different, including the deletion of the air tunnel culminating on the top of the rear fender. The tail is higher than on the Superfast, leaving room for the roof mechanism and luggage compartment. The rear diffuser is redesigned to keep aerodynamics similar to the "Coupe."
Overall, the changes result in an increase in overall length of one-and-a-half inches. The trunk volume goes from 12 cubic feet in the Superfast to 7.4 cubic feet in the GTS.
This is the first convertible V12 Ferrari since 2014, but that was a very limited special edition. The last time a regular-production Maranelo V12 creation had a drop top was 1971.
F8 Tributo
Based on the 488 Pista, with its 711-horsepower V8 turbocharged engine, the F8 Tributo utilizes new bodywork with reduced drag, new LED headlights and improved brake and engine cooling ducts. Overall length is increased by almost two inches over the 488. Four round taillights differentiate the F8 further from the 488.
SF90 Stradale
Ferrari's new flagship is a V8 plug-in hybrid. With a total of 986 horsepower from its twin-turbocharged V8 and three electric motors, the SF90 is only the second all-wheel drive Ferrari. It can travel for 16 miles on a full charge without running gasoline engine, a technical loophole to allow it in congested European cities. It might also get it into the carpool lane with Prius and Teslas.
