The interior is completely redone, its centerpiece a new 13.2-inch SYNC 4 infotainment system. Over-the-air software updates are available and an option to use a smartphone as a key is available.

On the outside, a new front bumper with smaller, redesigned lower air intakes and new side mirrors are the primary design changes.

Automatic dimming driver's side view mirror is now standard.

Navigator

A rear seat occupant sensor is new and standard on all models. If a rear door is opened before or any time during a trip, a warning will appear when the engine is turned off alerting the driver to check the back seat.
