All of the 2018 Volkswagen model year changes: all-new Atlas and Tiguan, refreshed Golf, GTI, Golf R, Beetle and Passat have a new engine, minor changes to other models. Stay tuned for full reviews of the Atlas and new Tiguan. All Volkswagens will receive a new 6-year/72,000-mile bumper-to-bumper warranty which is fully transferrable to subsequent owners.
New e-Golf is all-electric. The big news for the 2016 Volkswagens: diesels will not be on sale for an indeterminate length of time, with the exception of the Touareg TDI. Until the U.S. EPA determines that the diesel engines meet standards without a defeat device, 2016 Volkswagen's with the four-cylinder diesel engine are not certified for sale.
